Privacy Policy

Last updated October 29, 2026

Spankle (spankle.io) is a small set of free daily games, including Spankle and Top Floor, made by one person. This page explains what the games store, what they send, and what they don't.

No accounts, no names, no emails

You don't sign up to play. The games never ask for your name, email address, phone number, or location.

What's stored in your browser

Your progress lives in your browser's local storage on your device: today's game, your settings (like sound on or off), achievements, and streaks. Clearing your browser data removes it. It isn't shared with other sites.

What's sent to our server

To count players and show things like "better than 72% of players today," each browser gets a random anonymous ID and a secret key, both made on your device. With that ID, the games send:

This is stored with Cloudflare, which hosts the site. It can't be tied back to you as a person. Only the site owner can see the totals.

Site analytics

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count page visits. It doesn't use cookies and doesn't track you across other websites.

Ads

The daily games don't show ads. The Unlimited pages (like Top Floor Unlimited) may show ads from Google AdSense to keep them free. Google and its partners may use cookies to show ads based on your visits to this and other websites. You can turn off personalized ads at Google's Ads Settings, and read how Google uses data at policies.google.com. Where the law requires it, you'll be asked for consent before personalized ads are shown.

Tips

The support and tip buttons go to Ko-fi, a separate site with its own privacy policy. We never see your payment details.

Children

The games are for a general audience and don't knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13.

Changes and contact

If this policy changes, the date at the top will change too. Questions? Message us through Spankle's Ko-fi page.
